Howdy!

I'm a MSc student being co-supervised by Drs. Blake Richards and Shahab Bakhtiari. I'm broadly interested in self-supervised learning with a focus in contrastive predictive coding. I work on applying contrastive learning on coupled motor and visual data to train virtual agents to navigate simulated environments.

Before joining LiNC lab, I got my BSc in Medical Physics from Western University. My previous work in the labs of Dr. Alexei Ouriadov and Dr. Jan-Bernd Hövener focused on xenon and parahydrogen based hyperpolarized MRI, respectively.  My focus shifted into computational neuroscience in the lab of Dr. Andrea Soddu where I worked on developing biologically-plausible spiking neural networks based on a modified STDP algorithm towards the aim of encoding spatio-temporal patterns.
