Howzit!
I'm a PhD student at McGill University and MILA. I am interested in the problem of credit assignment in both artificial and biological neural networks. I subscribe to the idea that the answer for artificial general intelligence is found in the brain. My goal is to build brain-inspired intelligent systems capable of solving some of the world's toughest problems.
Beyond credit assignment, although not unrelated, I enjoy partaking in healthy discussions and debates on tackling social problems on the African continent. In my spare time, I host workshops in Cameroon where we engage in conversation regarding the potential impact of AI technologies in Africa.
When not doing research, I enjoy playing some soccer and mixing it up on my DJ controller!
