Mashbayar Tugsbayar

I'm a PhD candidate at McGill and Mila, currently studying top-down recurrent, human brain-based models of the visual system.

Before joining the lab, I completed my bachelor's degree at Stanford University, where I studied learning in mouse models of neurodegenerative diseases (with the Heller lab), and morphology-based classification of pyramidal neurons (with the McConnell lab).

I'm particularly passionate about the use of computational models of the brain as a predictive tool and a new model system for studying brain diseases.
