Dongyan Lin

Hi! My name is Dongyan (pronounced Dong-yan), I am a PhD student at Integrated Program in Neuroscience at McGill University and Mila. My current research broadly focuses on understanding how the brain processes and remembers various modalities of information, with the help of computational tools.

Before I joined LiNC Lab, I majored in physiology and double-minored in psychology and mathematics at the University of Toronto. My previous research experience comprised of both experimental neuroscience (with Steve Prescott at Sickkids Hospital) and biological data analysis (with Michiel de Hoon at RIKEN in Japan), which evoked my interest in bio-inspired intelligence systems.
