Dr. Jonathan Cornford

I am a postdoctoral researcher at McGill University and MILA. In general I am interested in the intersection of neuroscience and artificial intelligence, and I'm currently working on incorporating inhibition and Dale’s Law into artificial neural networks. During my PhD I investigated dendritic integration of excitatory inputs onto inhibitory neurons (1) , co supervised by Dimitri Kullmann and Michael Hausser at University College London. Before then my undergraduate degree was in Physiological Sciences at the University of Oxford.
